New Year, New Shiny!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, DAHHHHHHLINKS!  No...not drunk!! I haven't had a drink yet (I know, I know... *sheesh*).  But...here's why!!  I was so excited over the new shinies that Dahlinks just put out I was drunk off of the awesome and kind of stuck in the new releases section...drooling and going d'urrrrrrrrr all night. *nods rigorously*  Wanna see??? C'monnnnnnnnn you KNOW you wanna!!  Ok ok...come look!

THIS is one of TWO new releases this year at Dahlinks: The Yin Yang Pendant (L$150)!!  Available as male and female pendants, this modern spin on a very traditional symbol that equates to achieving balance is simply a MUST HAVE...especially in the new year.

A little history & backstory on this exquisite piece of ancient Chinese philosophy: the outer circle of the yin-yang represents everything. The black and white shapes (or in this case silver), represent how the two energies, yin and yang, interact. Yin (the black energy) represents the negative/dark/weak side; while Yang (the white energy) represents the positive/bright/strong side. It is also argued that yin represents female and yang, the male. Either way, yin and yang are not completely black and white as nothing in life is.
